Located in the heart of the Waterloo Regional Municipality is the beautiful city of Kitchener ON which attracts hundreds of local and international tourists all year round. Victoria Park

Located at 32 Dill Street, Victoria Park is a 59-acre park dating back to the 1870s when the city of Kitchener was still under the name Berlin. The park features many attractions including a man-made lake which gets its water from Schneider Creek. The lake surrounds three miniature islands and is traversed by several bridges. Waterloo Park

Despite its location outside Kitchener, Waterloo Park which is located at 50 Young Street, West within the neighboring city of Waterloo is another beautiful park that is loved by Kitchener’s residents due to its unmatched beauty and location just a few kilometers from Kitchener. This 24-hour park gives a vivid picture of nature’s beauty. Apart from the natural attractions, the park houses a sizable splash pad, a well-maintained garden, a mill replica, several picnic sites, and great sports facilities. There are plenty of play areas and equipment for kids, trails with lush vegetation for evening strolls and of course the beautiful bridge which sits on one of the streams offering a great view of the ducks playing in the water.

McLennan Park

Though not offering much of a scenic view due to its location on a former landfill, McLennan Park is one of the most visited parks in Kitchener due to its many amenities which include well-maintained trails, spacious green spaces, playgrounds, a skate park, and a splash pad. The park is located at 901 Ottawa Street, South and opens from 7 am to 11 pm from Monday to Saturday and for 24 hours on Sundays.
